What came first, the goats or the garden?

Four Goats Homestead started as a backyard gardening endeavor… which was abysmal at best its first season (no really, nothing grew except kale, sooooo much kale. But the chickens and goats didn’t mind.)

With each passing year we decided to grow more vegetable variety, adding flowers and fruit trees to the mix. After 5 years of learning, growing and refining, we’ve managed to sustain quite the growth operation.

Our love for a sustainable way of life, lead to a passion of growing and raising produce and chickens for our small community.

And so here we are!
